Fox Canyon in Minakami would have to be one of the busiest commercial canyons anywhere in the world. It is estimated that during the summer holidays there could be up to 400 people a day go through Fox Canyon with one of the several canyon companies in the area. With a simple 20 meter abseil or assisted slide, followed by a small section of jumps, this canyon located in the middle of town makes an enjoyable day that most people experience as their first ever canyon.
