The Technical Reference Manual covers canyoning skills and advanced techniques used in canyoning. There are many techniques that can be used and sometimes quite different depending of the history, country or training. These techniques can be used for either wet and/or dry canyons. The Technical Reference Manual attempts to cover these techniques within reason while making sure that they have been validated, researched, tested and confirmed before being available. Detailed photos, diagrams or videos have been added to help explain the techniques involved.
The Technical Reference Manual does not replace training by professional instructors, trainers, associations or groups.
The Technical Reference Manual was made to help and understand techniques, collate different techniques used around the world or build new techniques. If there are any additions, updates, corrections or questions about the Technical Reference Manual, please get in contact with us.
In memory of Luca Chiarabini, who never stopped sharing the knowledge of canyoning.
