On 21, 22 and 23 April 2017 happens in the region of Furnas to II RBB: Meeting of Bucainismo Brazil. The event aims to bring together autonomous canyoneering athletes who can enjoy the beauty of the canyons of the region as well as exchange experiences with other sportsmen from various regions of Brazil.
With control base in the city of Passos, the canyons are about 35km in the mountains that surround the great dam of Furnas.
Organized by the GBCAN – Brazilian Canyoneering Group, a non-profit Sports Canyoning association and founding member of IFC – International Federation of Sports Canyionism. It aims to disseminate and develop the Brazilian and International Canyionism through events, meetings, exchanges, courses, lectures and explorations.
